For the longest time I have been working, I always land on jobs that require verbally interacting with clients. Now, I want to focus more on my new found abilities: web research and data entry which have been my passive skills for the longest time as well. I inadvertently honed these abilities while I was busy focusing on my main job which was providing customer service for an Australian cable company. Researching additional information while on the phone with a client is already a norm in our line of work. While I have greatly improved my phone etiquette and customer service capabilities, I have also improved both my typing, researching and multitasking abilities. So now, I want to shift to a new career wherein I can utilize my typing, researching and multitasking skills even more. This new career path will also make use of the computer and internet knowledge I gained from my education background (Associate in Computer Science). Also, with my past experience as an ESL teacher, both my written and oral English have greatly been developed including my patience and thorough attention to details. Grammar has always been my weakness. But being an online ESL teacher, I have to persevere overcoming this weakness and deliver a near-perfect grammatically correct sentences to my students. All in all, confidence and flexibility are my key strengths to succeed in any endeavor I will undergo. Plus the fact, I don't back down to any challenge I take on. So this new career is a new challenge I will rise to.
