I have been reporting, writing and editing for the last 10 years for leading English language newspapers. As a media creator and storyteller, I'm committed to informing and inspiring the public with the right information told in the right ways. I have worked as ‘News Reporter’ for over eight years with print and digital editions of Pakistan’s leading English Newspapers, The Express Tribune, where I covered Culture, economy, Tourism and Judiciary giving me knowledge of governance and economic issues of the province. For the newspaper, I’ve written feature reports for which I was awarded KP’s prestigious media award – Lala Amir Siddiqi award. I remained associated with Tribal News Network (TNN) as News Editor which is a foreign-funded media project based in tribal districts of the province. My work at TNN is focused on creating public awareness and highlight health, education, drinking water, governance and socio-cultural issues faced by tribal people through audio, digital videos and stories in three languages – Pashto, Urdu and English. I’ve also worked as ‘Media Assistant’ with ‘Fata Secretariat special Project (FSSP)’, where I’ve drafted and editing articles, press releases, and information materials for media and the general public about FSSP’s developmental activities in Tribal districts. I visited projects sites and briefed media about the FSSP’s developmental projects. I’ have completed Masters Degree in ‘Political Science’ and ‘Journalism and Mass communication’ from the University of Peshawar. My studies are focused on mass communications, Politics economy and media laws, public relations. My personal abilities include excellent writing, editing, ability to present complex information in a clearly comprehensible form, write reports in a succinct manner and maintaining a high ethical standard at all times makes me able to complete all your projects in efficient manners.
