I have over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit,education and healthcare fields, including experience both at the grassroots and national levels. I have written for a variety of audiences, primarily focusing ofocusing primarily on grantwriting fundraising;advocacy and policy analysis; and programmatic development and evaluation. As a grant writer, I have 10 years of experience and earned more than $10,000,000 in cumulatively throughout this time, through a combination of foundation, corporate and governmental grants. In addition, I have experience creating copy for fundraising solicitations, brochures and direct mail pieces. For a programmatic focus, I have developed white papers/concept papers for new or emerging programs for the purposes of expert vetting and obtaining seed/start up funding. I have extensive policy analysis and advocacy experience in the following areas: child welfare, access to healthcare, Medicaid policy, Older adults and caregivers, dental services.
