But, we always start with the story outline.
We will meet live on Zoom, and work together to create an outline that helps you write more efficiently, but also provides a great story for the reader.
Nonfiction book outlining includes:
- Identifying your SMART goal for your book, and choosing the best type of outline (self-help, memoir, creative nonfiction, etc.).
- Analyzing the ideal reader, and using the persona to guide content decisions.
- Completing a detailed book outline, which includes the main story elements, characters, events, climax, and conclusion.
- Detailing individual chapter outlines in a similar format (comprehensive package only).
All options include identifying your SMART goal and choosing the best type of outline based on it.
- Basic Outline: 1 hour of live meeting time to create a basic outline for your book.
- Detailed Outline: 3 hours of live meeting time to create a basic outline for your book, and then continue to add details to the story and chapters.
- Comprehensive Outline: 5 hours of live meeting time to create both your basic and detailed book outlines, but also to create detailed outlines for each individual chapter.
Following the live meeting(s), you will receive a copy of the outline via Google Docs.
If you choose a package with more than one meeting, you will have access to the same Google Doc for the duration of our time together.
