I created an easier way to perform functions in a billing and collections system for a previous employer that reduced bad debts by 30%. The accounting departments in the parent and sibling companies were trained to use this system, which is still in effect 10 yrs later. I've helped small businesses market themselves by purchasing basic business startup tools; business cards, banners, signs, pens, flyers, mailing lists, etc.; creating a logo and placing it on all their marketing equipment. I've helped small businesses get a better idea of where they stand financially speaking by handling their day-to-day business operations: AR/AP, bill payment, check deposits & applications, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. I have scheduled and prepared meetings and meeting rooms, created meeting minutes, prepared travel arrangements and created and maintained travel and expense reports. I ensure that all mailings are sent and received in a timely fashion. I prepare all reporting to be sent to appropriate entities, be in local, state, federal, or legal.
