Ohio State Buckeyes Football is Red Hot

$15/hr Starting at $25

So much for a slow start.

With just a few verbal commitments entering the New Year, following the decommiment of No. 1 quarterback recruit Dylan Raiola, there was a slight early panic from Buckeye fans relative to recruiting the class of 2024.

Just a few months later, all of the momentum with top recruits in April is with Ryan Day's program -- and it just answered the longstanding quarterback question over the last four months in landing top-10 QB recruit Air Noland on Saturday night.

Noland's pledge makes for nine total verbal commitments and pushes the number to three in early April alone, with the lefty Georgia QB joining Texas running back James Peoples and Indiana wide receiver Mylan Graham among the most recent to buy into the Buckeyes with a pledge.

Across the recruiting industry, the OSU class is trending way up, sitting as high as No. 3 on On3 while sitting fourth at 247Sports and Rivals as of late Sunday night. Those numbers could improve in short order with OSU set to host droves of top talent next weekend during the spring game festivities.

The current makeup of the class is also now more balanced on offense, with four offensive skill prospects joining four offensive linemen already in the fold. In-state legacy athlete Garrett Stover is the lone defensive projection, should he wind up at linebacker while at OSU, on board to date. While work on that side of the ball remains, the offensive haul could be considered the best in the country at this stage.
