My name is Divya Kodali. I am working as an Assistant Professor at Padmasri Dr. B V Raju Institute of Technology, Narsapur, AP. I have done my Bachelors of Technology in Computer Science at International Institute of Information Technology in Hyderabad (famously known as IIIT-Hyderabad). My area of specialization during my graduation is Cognitive Science, a very promising upcoming research area. At BVRIT, too, I have helped the ECE department set up a Center for Cognitive Sciences and played a crucial role in working on one of the highest funded projects at BVRIT funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi. I am interested in applying for a teaching job in your institute. I am a very social person and have excellent social skills. I have a great curiosity for new things and am a very fast learner. I have a TOEFL (IBT) score of 115 which is for a total of 120 marks and a GRE score (in the new format) of 316 which is for 340 marks. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic and intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to your institute. I have worked as Teaching Assistant for one semester for the course 'Introduction to Cognitive Science'. This job included designing the course, scheduling the classes, taking a few classes, evaluating reports and after-class discussions. I also worked as a Research Assistant for 3 years with Dr. Bipin Indurkhya in the Cognitive Science lab at IIIT-Hyderabad and for 2 months with Dr. Jean Francois Delvenne in the Applied Psychology Department at University of Leeds, United Kingdom. I have also been offered a PhD position along with scholarship in the Cognitive Science Lab at the University of Osnabrueck in Germany. Apart from this major work, I also tutored a few students from high school during summer vacation.
