I was trained in mechnaical engineering as a draftsman, and made designer status before entering onto plant management in 1977 for Watco Plastics in Independence, MO that manufactures plastic plumbing. I was the second in command under the owner Bob Watts and was with company during its largest growth from $440,000 to $7 million in seven years.
I have had countless businesses most of which were part time ventures.
My first real business venture was a fiberglass manufactiring company that went defunted in 1974 with less than one year of existence.
I started Jani-Care Janitorial in 1986 with $78 of investment and grew the company to annual $800,000 before selling in 1995.
I have been self-supporting since 1989.
