One of the most important challenges that I have set for myself as an individual is excelling in varying and diverse roles and responsibilities. From my resume, one can pretty well summarize that I am a bundle of ambitious contradictions. From having a near perfect academic career, to being the head of a 12-member team in a Digital Agency, I have always dared myself to do the unthinkable. Ever since I started working in an academic research environment as a Junior Research Assistant, to handling three major governmental ministry sponsored projects as a Senior Research Coordinator, I have employed all my theoretical and practical knowledge of Political Science towards making each project reach its logical outcome. When an opportunity for a Junior Copywriter came my way, I accepted the challenge without any qualms, as I was fascinated in understanding how the digital functions. How social media and the web as a weapon of economic, social and political democracy is important in a country like India, whose untapped potential can only be unlocked by the power of Information Technology. From a junior position, to commanding a 12-member team as Content Head and Social Media Strategist, I have worked with some of the most exacting and astute global corporations and Marketing Managers who are sticklers for the brand that they look after. They do not expect anything-apart from perfection, and I am very happy to say that under my guidance my last company won some of the biggest clients in the world. I am looking forward to challenging myself again, in a less familiar domain concerning this opportunity. I believe that given my academic credentials, along with my experience of understanding the digital, and working under the gun (all the time including Saturdays and Sundays) with big corporations sets me up to not only handle, but excel for the opportunity that I am keen on undertaking. I have always believed that you are good at your job, only when you become an indispensable part of an organization.
