I have over 23 years experience in music and specialize in composing music for solo instruments, orchestra, ambient sound design, and electronic instruments. This year I have been nominated for Best Music Score for the 2021 MLC Awards for my work on the feature film Lonesome! 

Tracks I compose are recorded using high quality sound libraries with carefully detailed programming to get the best orchestral sound possible and add ambient sound design and electronic instruments that are unique and interesting. 

These scores are created with a range of ensemble sizes, solo instruments, ambient sound design, and electronic instruments. The genres I write for include: drama, romance/romantic comedy, thriller/horror, comedy, action adventure, period piece, documentary, fantasy, and experimental/avant-garde.

When working on a score it is important to me to know as much about the story as possible and if there is footage that has already been cut to the desired timestamps I will score directly to them. I will ask about how you want your audience to respond, textural aspects of the score, and potential character themes.
