Able to organize a niche hobby business grossing $60,000 and after aggressive changes and doing only what I know and do best grossed over $1,000,000 at our peak. I designed and produced our yearly catalog, Put out a product newsletter offset newsprint 8 1/2/11. Assembled advertising and inserted ads into appropriate media. (Magazines, to club brochure) Put our name and logo everywhere; banners at tradeshows. Did a project for General Schwartzkopf, before the war while he was at MacDill. The security was very interesting. He wanted us to put together an ACW artillery battery, a couple of WWl biplanes dogfighting and an ACW Naval crew all hand-painted. He planned to present these 3 sets to the Joint Chiefs of Pakistan. As Promotion artist I did various projects for all the celebrities that came through the Palm Bch Post Newspapers. Burt Reynolds was definitely the most fun. He gave me a bottle of imported Scotch for a pen & Ink caricature I whipped up for him.
