I've been drawing and creating art my entire life.  Although I have little formal training, art is the only thing I have ever wanted to do. I believe experience and practice hone skill far better than lecture. I specialize in digital illustration and lean towards fantasy and science fiction but I love all types of styles. If I believe a project is out of my skill range or not interesting enough to keep me motivated to do my best, I'll be honest. Time is valuable for the artist and the employer and should not be wasted by either.
