With a love for lettering and versatile illustration skills, I can certainly create a design you will be thrilled with. From my first attempts as a child to copy the cartoons I enjoyed, to my mastering of working portraits from photographs and eventually life, I have loved drawing things for myself and others. As a young adult, I worked in libraries for five years, and during that time I developed a greater appreciation for the care that good authors and illustrators put into creating children's books. When an opportunity arose for me to go back to school, I took it, and spent two years adding to my knowledge and skills in the fields of art and writing before joining my husband's graphic design business as in-house illustrator. For the last three years, I have worked on various logos (both graphic- and letter-based); original graphics for posters, postcards, websites and more; greeting cards; and a children's book.
