Colorist for King Features Top Comic Strips
Fashion Illustrations for syndicated column A graduate of the esteemed Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and
Graphic Art, I started my career as the colorist in the King Features
Syndicate comic art department. As head colorist I oversaw color specs for the
promotional department and colored such world-renowned strips as Blondie,
Beetle Bailey and Hagar the Horrible. While on staff I also ghosted the
“Secret Agent Corrigan” comic strip for George Evans, provided spot art for the
promotional department and produced fashion illustrations for the syndicated
column, “Sew Simple.”
From 1996-2003 I was the writer and artist of the Flash
Gordon newspaper strip, syndicated worldwide by King Features Syndicate.
Work experience has also included teaching, most recently at
the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. I have also taught and guest
