I worked full time at screen-scraper.com to service clients requiring web scraping and indexing needs, including a project that managed and reported on stock trading activity via a broker's web interface. While at screen-scraper, I contributed to core development tools that enabled remote controlled access of the TOR IP anonymizer and the Amazon EC2 cloud computing service as remote proxies for scraping work. I have privately developed a tool to rapidly accelerate the scraping process for target websites, including features for multithreading, page caching, file mirroring, anonymizing, and pause/resume features. I have a long history of personal and professional experience using Python for creating websites, managing databases, and doing scraping work.
