The following is a sample of some of my projects. Led a design team of electrical and firmware engineers during a ground-up development of a fully-pipelined parallel-processing 16-bit microprocessor with proprietary DMA processing features. The chip is 140k gates in 0.35uM technology. Led a design team through prototype phases of a printer with an integrated grey scale scanner. Device was capable of scanning images at 8-10ips Developed and introduced novel design techniques to achieve EMC improvements and cost reduction goals. Design goals of 50MHz digital logic, CLASS-B EMI, 8-10KV ESD, and plastic cabinetry. Designed hardware, enclosure, pcb, and firmware for an RS232 to Keyboard/Mouse command interface. This device receives commands from a host PC and converts them into serial PS/2 data for either the mouse or keyboard ports. Device is based on a PIC 16F877 microprocessor. A US Patent is pending for this device. Developed a PCB for the evaluation of a 100Mb/s copper
