Under the supervision of an attorney, a paralegal is authorized to prepare a wide range of documents, for any jurisdiction within the United States of America. I am proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office suites, and Intuit QuickBooks software; as well as, in the following: • legal research; • transcribing and editing of correspondence, forms, and memoranda in the production of legal documents; • the use of tickler filing systems; • time tracking for various types of legal representation; and • written and verbal interpersonal skills (amongst many other things!) I have a working knowledge of Westlaw, LexisNexis, RealLegal, TurboLaw, and Concordance. In addition to an Associates’ Degree in Paralegal Studies, I have worked in the medical field for several years as a CNA/HHA. At one point, I even attended nursing school (LPN), before deciding, nursing wasn’t for me! I am well versed in the areas of medical terminology/abbreviations, which can prove quite helpful when navigating voluminous medical records, during the discovery of a litigation case. If I can be of assistance in any way, please contact me.
