Payroll and Human Resource Processing

• Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests. • Maintain digital and electronic records of employees. • Serve as point of contact • Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts. (on-boarding) • Maintain calendars of HR management team. • Assist with performance management procedures. • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas. • Coordinate training sessions and seminars. • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity. • Process payroll and resolve any payroll errors. • Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews (off-boarding) • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice • Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees • Calculate pay according to hours worked incorporating leaves and overtime • Calculate bonuses and commissions when appropriate • Issues statements and invoices and maintain records • Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc. • Calculate unemployment and severance payments • Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll from employees and upper management • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll • Prepare and submit reports with payroll information
