The US Department of Defense confirmed the day before yesterday that it was preparing for the possibility of a "Pelosi" visit to Taiwan.

However, according to the newspaper's sources, "the Pentagon is making preparations in anticipation of this."
"If the trip goes according to plan, Pelosi will travel to Taipei on a US military plane," the newspaper added. The newspaper suggested that the Speaker of the US House of Representatives will travel to the Asia-Pacific region at the end of this week.
The US military fears that China will begin missile tests in the waters near the island. Informed sources told the newspaper, that US military aircraft flying in the region were allowed to "carry the largest amount of ammunition."
The newspaper did not provide any additional clarifications about the preparations made by the US military specifically with regard to Pelosi's possible visit to Taiwan.
