Provided administrative programming and analysis on FMTS system running PeopleSoft HCM 9.2/8.55.29. Performed requirements analysis and evaluation to improve FMTS usability. Maintained and validated secure keystore for secure integration broker messaging with Defense Civilian Personnel Data System. Implemented and and configured full PeopleSoft Integration Architecture FMTS-S on Defense Manpower Data Center Secret domain to support the Fourth Estate and commands around the world. Installed and configured Peoplesoft’s new upgrade server solution with PeopleSoft Update Manager to upgrade from HCM 9.1 to 9.2. Performed SQL tuning and SQL development support for user community running SQL queries. Currently upgrading from PeopleTools 8.55.29 to 8.57.01.
As the technical lead on the Global Force Management Joint Organization Server (JOS), implemented CAC card authentication, developed a data quality review, and configured PeopleSoft integration broker to publish JOS Topic XML for publishing to DISA EM4 enterprise messaging site. Support and maintain JOS export transform and load (ETL) process. Coordinate and interface with Joint Chiefs of Staff – J1, which is the feeder Man power system Fourth Estate Manpower System (FMTS) to JOS.
As the technical Unix/Peoplesoft Upgrade Specialist for eZHR most recently performed upgrade from PeopleSoft 8.8 to 9.1 service pack 4 utilizing Database Administration, PeopleSoft Administration, PeopleTools Development, Upgrade Experience, and SQL tuning in a Sun Solaris environment. Formulated procedures, developed and tuned scripts to perform production upgrade within narrow window of time go-live weekend. Majority of the time savings was from tuning and refining SQL conversion scripts. These procedures automate the recurring processes and reduce recovery time in the event of restoration during upgrade. Performed configuration, setup, and go-live of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture for disaster recovery site located in the Cheyenne Mountain AFB. Support and maintain the eZHR operational, testing, and development environments. Developed and tuned automated scripts to generate 1000 logins, related user data, and child records for training the commands around the globe thereby saving countless hours of data entry.
