Photography can be both an exciting and frustrating experience, and that only gets fuelled by social media platforms because we fall into the trend of comparing our work to others’. Instead of taking photography as a gradual learning process, frustration or high expectation can lead us to believe that we “are a failure”, that we “are not apt for this craft”, and many other nonsense anxieties, perfectionism, and other forms of insecurity creep out to refrain us from improvement.
