I am a photographer and multi-media journalist. I also put together documentary videos and video broadcasts in which I do all the work myself; writing, interviewing, research, voice over, camera work, and editing. In my three semesters on the staff of the Los Angeles City College Collegian, (as reporter, photographer, broadcaster, videographer, and illustrator) I contributed nearly fifty articles while also contributing photographs for almost all of my own articles and those for many others. For the last two semesters I produced my own popular bi-weekly astronomy column, “Star Sightings on Campus,” which has grown to become a regular video series as well. I am a very outgoing but focused and independent worker who is very passionate about countless subjects, including Los Angeles history and culture, astronomy and science, environmental issues, human rights issues, and the arts. I keep a Tumblr blog, “Angeleno with a Camera,” where I create regular posts, as well keeping current my facebook page. I have been using IMovie, but am currently teaching myself Final Cut Pro. I know my way around Photoshop quite well since I have studied it at school and use it all the time. I edit all my own photos. I know Macs and PC very well. I am also an experienced and skilled illustrator and painter and my portfolio is available upon request.
