I am a Photographer/ Author/ Video Editor/ Captionist based in Mombasa, Kenya. I have over 8 years experience in video production. I am fluent in speaking, listening and writing in English and Swahili. I have a lot of practice in captioning and subtitling videos online. I understand the rules of captioning, subtitling and having correct grammar in sentences. I am also conversant with video production as I have been a Production Manager for the last ten years. I have worked with different production companies to successfully produce programs that have aired on mainstream media and the web. I have just finished shooting an international documentary called Change for a dollar, a production from Buck Productions, Canada. I have also worked as a Production Manager with Ginger Ink films to produce an international award winning film called Kati Kati. I have experience in directing, producing, lighting and video editing. In all those videos I have created in the past it required a lot subtitling. I am hard working, I exercise due diligence, am vibrant, creative, self-driven.d. I like to interact with other people and learn about new cultures.
