My name is Chelsey Schmidtke. I have a bachelor’s degree in design (photography), and a master’s degree in landscape architecture. I have been working casually as a photographer part-time for over a decade and also work part-time in the architectural design industry. I am in my thirties, friendly, flexible and easy to work with. I became a photographer as a way to express myself creatively. Over time I have learned to help others express themselves and their story through photos. To this end, I look forward to working with you! I shoot digital images and have experience photographing a broad range of people, places and products, both on location and in my studio in Vancouver. Specifically this includes in-studio product photography, head-shots and profile photos, as well as on-site and outdoor events and gatherings, architectural photography, and documentation of completed work for design award submissions. I have all of my own professional gear as well as software and skills necessary for high-quality image post-processing (touch-ups). I live in Vancouver, BC, have my own vehicle and can travel throughout the lower mainland, BC and Alberta for work. I work flexible hours and could potentially shoot days, evenings and weekends with some advanced notice.
