A developer with 8 years of PHP experience, I have dealt with many frameworks and CMS systems over the years. With a primary focus on the back-end work using frameworks such as Symfony, Kohana, CodeIgniter or Laravel, I have also worked extensively with CMS platforms such as Wordpress, Boly, Drupal, Joomla and serveral others. I have experience with dealing with some e-commerce platforms too, with several shops under my belt using platforms such as Magento, Shopify, OpenCart and OSCommerce. Being a full-stack developer, I am well acquainted with the front-end technologies, and know how to put them together to make full responsive mobile applications and websites. HTML, CSS, SASS, javascript with AJAX and jQuery are all part of my toolkit I use to tackle a problem. Also in my templating toolkit are template languages such as Handlebars, Twig and Smarty. Fully up-to-date with the latest trends, I use source control tool GIT on platforms such as Github and Bitbucket. Dependency managers such as bower.js and composer. I've used Grunt for javascript build part of the development process. To ensure that the websites I use are fully compatible with the target server environment, I utilise a combination of Virtualbox, Vagrant and a provisioning system such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef to create a virtual environment to utilise during development. My testing stack includes PHPUnit for unit testing of PHP classes, Browserstack for browser compatibility testing -- for Internet Explorer, Safari, chrome -- and Litmus for email template testing against mail clients such as Mail, Outlook, Gmail and Yahoo. I have personally dealt with project management, including dealing with designers and copywriters work to pull websites together.
