3+ years of hands-on development experience and a strong passion for the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL & PHP) development stack. 3+ years of hands-on development experience with HTML, DHTML, JavaScript and CSS. MVC experience (Zend, Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc.) Ability to design unit tests with PHPUnit and document source. Knowledge of web service development and consumption of SOAP and REST. Familiarity with common PHP design patterns and their implementation. Experience in code repository, e.g. SVN, CVS, git. Experience in managing a robust production environment with familiarity including edge firewalls, web application firewalls, load balancers, database servers, and basic server administration. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
