Bink has revealed that her daughter will be earning “minimum wage” on her upcoming tour.
The Try singer will kick off her Trustfall world tour off in June in the UK, to celebrate her ninth studio album and will be joined by her kids Willow and son James on the road.
The songstress shared in a new interview that her 11-year-old daughter, who she shares with husband Carey Hart, is getting a job on tour, but has a thing or two to learn about the art of negotiating a wage.
Speaking on the Today Show, she shared: “Willow has a job on tour. We just had to go over minimum wage and [how] it’s different, state to state.
“I said it’s about $22.50 a show, depending how long I go, if I run over.
“She goes, ‘I’ll take $20, it’s easier math.’ I’m like, ‘That’s not how you negotiate for yourself.’ I’m like, ‘You’ll take $25 so it’s easier math.’”
When the host quipped that her six-year-old son should try to negotiate for his sister, Pink joked: “James is like, ‘I just want a lollipop and some attention!’”
The musician is known for putting on an incredible show every night, and promised that her acrobatic skills would be continuing for her upcoming tour, despite her undergoing several operations.
The So What singer recently spoke about how the pandemic gave her an opportunity to rest her voice after years of constant work, but her body was put under strain as she had some work done to repair injuries.
She told Variety: “Especially during Covid – I gained 36lbs. All I did was make sourdough and then eat the sourdough.
“And then I had not just the hip surgery but double disc replacement in my neck. Now I’m the bionic woman.
“I’ve lost those 36Ibs, and I am stronger than I’ve ever been in my life. And I’m ready to go, and I’m ready to get the hell out of here. I’ve been home way too long.
