Drive teamwork and continuous improvement focused on optimizing all processes through conducting Plants/sites assessments including Operations Assessment, identify with divisional and site leadership appropriate opportunities for advancement and improvement action plans. Develop and lead strategy for continuous improvement initiatives e.g. cost reduction, automation, productivity improvement, multi-year vision, Lean/Kaizen Projects, Six Sigma initiatives, new technology, new product development and innovation. • Lead strategy, development, and deployment for all site projects include Hoshin goal deployment and the application of value added projects • Leads the development of site capabilities in the area of Continuous Improvement with regards to Lean, Six Sigma and Manufacturing Excellence • Responsible for execution of the key breakthrough continuous improvement projects within the specified area of responsibility, and within specified time to achieve stretch performance goals. • Ensure the plant is operating at the highest levels of safety and in compliance with laws and regulatory compliance to improve overall safety and health of employees and environmental • Track and report site KPI measures making performance visible and understood across the organization. • Lead performance problem solving teams by creating sustainable organizational capability for problem solving and process improvement through the application of PDCA, statistics, Lean and 6 sigma to build organizational capability, shape the culture and get results • Work with all departments to identify training gaps and development needs detection, Develop training programs, do tracking and adjustments to accomplish them. • Lead, Mentor, coach and motivate team members daily.
