PLSQL/SQL DEVELOPER

Responsibilities:

1. Database Development: Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and functions to support business logic and data processing.
2. SQL Query Optimization: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure high performance and scalability.
3. Database Design: Assist in database schema design, normalization, and indexing to optimize performance.
4. Data Integration: Work with data integration tools and technologies to ensure seamless data flow between applications and databases.
5. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database performance issues, bugs, and other technical problems.
6. Documentation: Document database structures, processes, and code for future reference and ease of understanding.
7. Client Communication: Engage with clients to gather requirements, provide project updates, and deliver on deadlines.
8. Testing: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing on developed PL/SQL code.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Proven Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience as a PL/SQL Developer, including working with Oracle databases.
2. Strong SQL & PL/SQL Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
3. Database Optimization: Experience in database tuning and query optimization to improve performance.
4. Data Modeling: Ability to design and implement effective database schemas and structures.
5. Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with database tools such as Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar platforms.
6. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex database-related issues. 
7. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to work with clients, understand their needs, and provide timely updates.
