I write poetry, creative work, essays, travelogues, basically anything needed. I can work on research projects that require interviews, travel, and the work needed to find the information necessary to make the article/essay necessary. I can do proofreading work; I work well with people editing their work because I believe that though writing is a difficult process their is a writer within all of us. I work towards making the edited comfortable in the fact that I am going to work with them to make their writing better through their own effort rather than myself writing for them: to do this I often make suggestions that let the writer work themselves out, suggest wording or stylistic differences that are optional for the writer so they feel like they wrote the work themselves, and if the work is flawed beyond reason then I adjust my approach to focus on the positive aspects of the writing while excising and replacing the worse parts of the writing. I have experience in college as many of my peers would volunteer their papers to me as they knew that I was a hard but fair editor that could make their work better. I have read most major authors, professors joked that I had read everything, and my ability to conjure up information gives people the impression of an encyclopedia. I try to create a welcoming atmosphere that seeks to create a new reality for the writer, business, technical manual, etc. that needs work. In general I can take on any job required, can figure out a way to make things work, make opportunities for myself, and drive myself to create the greatest content that I can for every client.
