Let's see.... I was born and raised in Virginia. It was in high school that my cartooning really started to take off. I started doing cartoons for the school newspaper. After graduation, I got a job as a pressman at the local daily newspaper StarExponent.com - The Culpeper Star Exponent. Around 1980 the managing editor saw some of my doodles and sketches and asked if I would do some cartoons for the paper. My first was on the American hostages held in Iran. From there my dream of becoming an editorial cartoonist began to take shape. For the past 4 years, I have been doing editorial cartoons for The Star-Exponent, a member of Media General, part of the GatewayVA Network on a regular basis. My work also appears in the political humor books, "Attack of the Political Cartoonist" and The Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year - 2006 Edition. The Virginia Press Association awarded me 1st place for Editorial Cartooning for 2004.
