I've done many private portrait commissions and am often told I capture the personality well (as in "twinkly eyes" or "warm sense of humor") of my subjects. Portrait painting and drawing are the most challenging work I do, as it is sometimes very difficult to get a likeness of a person, but when I do, it's a great feeling and I love the reaction I get when I show my client the finished piece.
