My academic background is Cassical studies (Lisbon University), language and literature, which gave me linguistic solid skills quite useful in translation. Having done a PhD in Visual Studies (Utrecht University, TheNetherlands), I was also trained to write in academic English and edit texts to a high standard. My work experience comprehends teaching (Portuguese, Latin and Literature) in high school and university; freelance assignments of translation and editing in Portuguese and English. I am also available for translations from Dutch to Portuguese. I have lived in The Netherlands for seven years and took several language courses.
