Prince Andrew to care for Queen's belove

$25/hr Starting at $25

Queen Elizabeth II's corgis are going to live with her son Prince Andrew and his ex-wife.

Muick and Sandy, two young corgis that the prince and his children presented the Queen as a present in 2021, will be handled by the Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York.

The Queen was spotted in January with Candy, a dachshund-corgi mix, who belonged to her.

Throughout her lifetime, Her Majesty owned more than 30 corgis.

Given the relationship, well-wishers almost immediately started inquiring who would adopt the dogs since it was so strong.

The corgis, which were given to Her Majesty by the Duke, will return to reside at Royal Lodge with the Duke and Duchess, according to a source close to Prince Andrew.

"The Duchess and Her Majesty bonded through horseback riding and dog walking, and even after their divorce, she would maintain their close connection by speaking while walking the dogs in Frogmore."

Prince Andrew and his ex-wife reside in Royal Lodge, a palace on the grounds of the Windsor Estate, while Frogmore is a property close to Windsor Castle.

The Duke, 62, gifted the Queen Muick and another puppy named Fergus in the spring of last year with the help of his daughters Beatrice and Eugenie.

A corgi called Muick—pronounced "Mick"—was given that name in honor of Loch Muick on the regal Balmoral estate.

A dorgi by the name of Fergus was given to the Queen in honor of her maternal uncle, Captain Fergus Bowes-Lyon, who died in World War One. The dog passed away in May at the young age of five, purportedly from a heart condition. The Queen was reportedly in despair.

On her formal 95th birthday, Sandy, another corgi puppy was subsequently presented to her by Prince Andrew.

Angela Kelly, the Queen's dresser, personal assistant, and devoted friend, recently said that the newcomers had been a "continuous delight" and "always put a smile on everyone's faces.

an 18th birthday gift

The Queen had more than 30 corgis and dorgis over the course of six decades and was a passionate corgi breeder. Many were descendants of Susan, the dog she acquired from her father in 1944 for her 18th birthday.

However, the breeding program for the royal family was discontinued a number of years ago since it was said that the Queen would not want to leave puppies behind after she passed away.

There have been rumors that Prince Andrew told his mother he would take care of the dogs if necessary because he was aware of this.

Since their divorce in 1996, the prince and his ex-wife, the duchess, have maintained a strong relationship, so her participation is not unexpected.

The duchess referred to the Queen as "the most.
