I am a CIPS qualified procurement professional with a Law Degree. I have 20+ years experience in procurement for a wide variety of goods and services giving me an extensive understanding of the rules, principles, procedures and best practices in procurement, including how best to engage with internal and external clients. I have worked with over 100 clients on approximately 100 tenders / contracts. I have a strong track record in procurement delivering contracts and frameworks. I have a background in procurement and contract / framework development and regularly work with both clients and suppliers on business case, strategy, guidance and service development, procurement and contract management. I have extensive experience of tendering, service development and costing, including the development and management of contractual arrangements between clients and suppliers of services. Specific work includes: The Tender to be issued will include the instructions to bidders, relevant terms and conditions, the agreed specification / statement of requirement (and usage data), the pricing schedule, commercial and technical questionnaire and other relevant information e.g. development of key performance indicators. Developing and issuing the resulting Contract following the procurement, the contract will include the relevant terms and conditions, the agreed specification / statement of requirement, the appropriate pricing and the bid response submission. I have also undertaken supplier and spend analysis, agreed sourcing plans, implemented timely procurement to meet organisation requirements, and undertaken Market analysis of supply base.
