After 20 years I still relish Product Management and Pre Sales Engineering. You cannot be a Product Manager unless you understand your product and its interactions in all its environments, and my engineering background helps, but so does my evangelic communications style, be it in written collateral, webex's or good old fashioned whiteboard. I believe a Product Manager is the CEO for that product/service line and wish to keep working with organisations with that same ethos. As a disciplined, experienced, technical person I bring value to the teams I work with, but always with a focus on delivery. Working hard and smart while enjoying, and furthering the products, services and solutions under my ownership through collaboration and communication. I have a startup mentality, happy to wear the hat needed to progress the companies message and profitability forward. My time as a contractor has refined another skillset, the ability to pick up new products and technologies very quickly, and start the PM process without delay.
