I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English and Modern Languages (McMaster University), Bachelor of Education, and a Master of Education degree in Narrative Writing and Qualitative Portfolios. I have also assisted with writing mathematical assessments and rubrics for Provincial Standardized tests and assist with medical article reviews specific to the field of psychological research. I have worked as a professional writing consultant for Curriculum Development agencies and Boards of Education based on Ministry mandates and guidelines. I was also part of a Writing Team as Assistant Professor in the department of Modern Languages. I have assisted clients in refining resumes, cover letters, philosophies and professional statements, and recommendation letters. I use a creative writing style intended to captivate and engage readers with meticulous focus to detail. Additional credentials include Principal and administrative qualifications and extensive certification in Second Language Acquisition (Rivière du Loup, Quebec / Universita' di Siena, Italy), English as a Second Language, Special Education Curriculum development. As Lead Supervisor of the International Languages Program, I assist over 20 different language groups write and develop curriculum based on Ministry expectations and guidelines. I have also provided translation and interpretation services in French, Italian, Spanish and Latin-based vernacular dialects.
