Writing is not only my work, but it is my passion. Blogging is the style of writing that I am most known for. My blog, Lab Coat & Pearls, is an online narrative style blog centered around my experiences as a previous dental student. It is a highly trafficked blog; gathering over 27,000 views in its lifetime (monthly views average at about 500 a month.) On this blog, I interact with my audience by answering their comments and addressing their questions and concerns. Lab Coat & Pearls has given me a great platform to interact with pre-dental and dental students across the world, and now it is my time to expand my horizons and delve into other areas of interest. The American Student Dental Association's blog "Mouthing Off" has also featured my work. Here, I wrote an article addressing a popular topic in the dental community. This article was featured across their social media sites, including Facebook and Twitter. This article assignment gave me valuable experience in the world of online magazine publishing and displayed how I am reliable and can meet deadlines that are given to me.
