I am a passionate Pharmacist having an interest in research projects. I have done a qualitative research project on socio-economic challenges faced by parents of thalassemia patients. For this purpose, an interview guideline consisting of questions was developed, and interviews were conducted in thalassemic wards. Parents were encouraged to talk about their experiences and fears and everything was audiotaped. The results were then categorized and each aspect of the parent’s life that was affected was discussed after deep analysis.in a nutshell, it was a fantastic experience. Apart from this, I have also worked on Loxoprofen (painkiller) microemulsion as a topical drug delivery system. The aim of this project was to form Microemulsion for topical delivery of loxoprofen. It has ease of application and also improves patient compliance. The topical delivery system is also beneficial for a localized effect. Other strengths include articles on health, diseases and information on drug-drug interactions.
