My general rate for proofreading is £10 per 1,000 words looking at the spelling, grammar, syntax, tone, and punctuation with a 1 day turnaround. I also do editing and can work with house styles. I am member of, and trained by, the Society for and Editors and Proofreaders UK. I adhere to a strict code of conduct meaning that I provide a high standard of work, customer service and client confidentiality. I am a native English speaker and I am also studying part-time as an English postgraduate. This means that, combined with my training, I have an in-depth knowledge of the English language.
