I will go through a multi-step process to fully restore your bad-quality images. I have a specialty in facial and human restoration, but can handle most types of images. I have been doing this for a few years by now, and know all the tricks to get a good image in about half the time and price.
The steps I take to fix the photo are usually as follows(in order):
- Denoising
- Crack and Artifact Removal
- Selective Blurring and Denoising
- Overall Sharpening
- Relighting
- Advanced Selective Sharpening
- Facial Reconstruction(if need)
- Manual Colorization(Much better and more precise than automatic tools)
- Overall Touch Ups
- Any Additional Revisions
All of this is done manually, which can be very tedious work. Each image can take upwards of 2 hours. In the end though, the end result is totally worth the time put in to it. I guarantee you will not be disappointed with how your old photos are magically brought back to life!
