Do you need a highly experienced writer with a savvy editorial eye and discretion? 16 years as a policy writer in the Federal Government has honed my writing and editing skills to the highest level. I have drafted countless high quality, accurate briefing papers for ministers; analytical reports; speeches; and even correspondence between heads of government. I am used to working to ministerial timelines, so I have excellent time management skills and discretion in all that I do. A recent sabbatical was a catalyst to branch out into other areas of writing: travel writing and children’s literature. I can turn my writing skills to any sector that needs it: try me! International work experience in Japan and the Middle East has given me a deep appreciation for intercultural nuances. Having also dealt extensively with colleagues in Europe, North America, and throughout Asia, I am very comfortable writing in contexts requiring sensitivity to political and cultural differences.
