Currently, I am employed as an Editor for Transcriptions, also known as Scopus Editing or Court Report Editing, for such work as city council meetings, medical research, professional interviews, and college class lectures. My present line of work includes the following tasks: proofreading and editing; correcting basic spelling, grammar, capitalization, and punctuation errors; correcting steno errors commonly found on typist machine programs; researching and locating the correct terms found in medical research, scientific, and legal professions; and properly formatting documents into a presentable e-file. My editing specialties are geared towards editing verbal audio files, paired with written transcriptions, for presentation to the general public, and also for people who have hearing impairments. The programs that I use for editing include Case Catalyst Editing Software, and I am also fully experienced in using programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and the Google Drive Suite, depending on the specific line of work as it entails. I am also proficient in Writing and Research for the creation of technical or informational style documents.
