By way of background, I am a professional writer and editor who received her MFA in Fiction Writing from Brooklyn College in 2012. Upon graduation, I received a fiction fellowship from the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown from 2012-2013. Prior to receiving my master's degree, I worked for three years as an editor at HarperCollins Publishers in New York, editing more than 25 New York Times Bestselling children's books.
