SENIOR TRANSLATOR (ENGLISH TO FRENCH) 05/2014 – present • Acting as deputy and back-up for other senior team members (such as Translation Line Manager) at the request of your Manager • Provide written translation as assigned, and review translations performed by others • Accurately recording daily working time through use of Timesheet program • Supporting your Manager in the recruitment of new translators through such activities as evaluating test translations • Providing linguistic support for other SDL departments such as DTP, Engineering and Audio • Meeting objectives set by your Manager • Full linguistic support for SDL project managers.
