As an example of my accomplishments, I designed and developed an oceanographic information System at National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula. The system is a Web based geographical information System which allows scientists at the NIO online access and maintenance of test data. This made sharing of data easier which significantly increased productivity of the scientists. The system was developed using ArcGIS 8 (ArcMap, ArcScene, ArcSDE, ArcIMS) along with HTML, ASP and Oracle 9i. My qualifications for this position include the academic ability and organizational skills necessary to produce quality work within tight time limits. I am a team player with the ability and eagerness to learn and embrace new technologies. I have very strong conceptual and problem solving skills and am well versed in Oracle, Visual basic, ASP & Linux shell scripts.
