Here is exactly how I feel about Patrick: Like everybody else he's better at some things than others. There are some aspects of his Technical Skill I may rate less than excellent, but I've been dealing directly with him....so how many individual Coders are experts at everthing? None in my experience. The difference with Patrick is he'll tell you what he may not be up to speed on, so then who is at fault if you ask him to go forward? And why would you ask him to go forward anyway, because it's hard enough to find someone you can communicate with these days let alone finding off the chart skills, honesty and a sincere desire to get the job done.
Some aspects of my project have moved slower than I would have liked, but other aspects have moved faster because Patrick is a businessman and he "Get's It".....Here's what I respect the most, when he can't deliver when he thinks he should, which is rare, he doesn't tell you it's because you didn't write it up correctly he reduces his invoice without you having to ask him to....which is the right thing to do.
All these Invoices I've paid probably stand out like a sore thumb....I hate getting a request for feedback every time I pay one, but they're all related to the same massive project so it would be unfair of me to dominate his time and then not respond.....but the best evidence of how I feel about Patrick is I'm still here and his value grows every day. He not only takes the time to understand what you're trying to achieve he's capable of understanding it....so Patrick is very good in the beginning and get's better instead of the other way around...and most of us are a little tired of Coders who feel their time is worth more than ours. Who is paying who in this equation?
I'm trying to be fair to Patrick and honest with my fellow Entrepreneurs who will read this review, so I'll sum it up this way...
Solid is the word that comes to mind when I think of Patrick and to me solid is Excellent. His skills are solid, he has a solid attitude and he's a solid human being!
