I have been working in the IT industry since 1987.  I started in computer operations and have been programming since 1988. I have written programs using COBOL, Visual Basic 5, Visual Basic 6, VB.NET, Speedware, and VB Script.   The industries I've written programs for include medical, insurance, banking, publishing, wholesale, and manufacturing. I've also got extensive experience in database design.  I've worked with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, MySQL, and Hewlett Packard's TurboImage.  I have worked as a DBA in both an HP and a MS SQL Server shop.  I have sharp skills in database normalization as well. I am an IT professional of over 20 years.  I can apply my past experience to solve any problem presented to me.  I adapt to new technology quickly.  I am eager to learn new technology.  I am eager to take on new challenges to broaden my scope of problem solving.
