Developed and supported Electronic Medical Record System (EMR). Application was written in Visual Basic, which includes User Controls, ActiveX, Microsoft SQL Server, and utilizes Microsoft Digital Dashboard. Developed Interface to Microsoft Digital Dashboard utilizing XML, SQL, ASP, and HTML. Also responsible for the development of reporting modules utilizing Crystal Reports. Perform Microsoft SQL Server administration tasks such as backups, replication, user admin, and creating database objects. Installed Oracle Enterprise and Client software. Created Oracle instances and tuned them for performance. Rewrote and supported several load processes used by the Web Applications (SQL, Unix Script, Perl, Sun Solaris, Linux). Performed Unix administration tasks such as maintaining user accounts, setting up project environments, creating symbolic links for web access, monitoring disk space and creating and setting up tasks to run under job scheduler (CRON).
