Over 20 years experience working on IT projects for the Health Care industry. The majority of my experience is with claims processing systems for a variety of insurance types, i.e. HMO, Medicare, Medicaid and other types. I have worked on a premium billing system for Health Insurance company. As part of this project I had to figure out the correct transaction(s) to generate for billing based on changes to an individuals Health Insurance. I also have 3+ years experience working of 3 different HIPAA projects including the following transactions 837I, 837D, 837P, 270, 271, 276, 277, 278, 820, 834, 835. I have worked on a Backsupport project to support the NSF format for of UB & Part A to the 837I X12 transaction and HCFA & Part B to the 837P X12 transactions.
